A Brief History... We are a
wholesale and retail sportswear company founded by Ed Bernard in
1973. Our company is headquartered near Kalamazoo, Michigan, a
college town located halfway between Detroit and Chicago. In the
beginning we were a small retail jeans store near the Western
Michigan University campus. However, that soon changed when Ed
realized there was a demand for wholesale apparel, and Bermo
Enterprises was born. Initially, the wholesale company operated out
of the retail store basement. Since those early days we have evolved
many times into what we are today - The largest off-price apparel
wholesaler in the Midwest and one of the largest and most successful
in the country! That tiny campus jeans store is gone now but it too
has grown into a chain of nearly 50 family fashion stores in
communities throughout Lower Michigan, Indiana, the Chicagoland
area, Arkansas, and East Texas.
Our World Headquarters… We have a
state-of-the art 160,000 sq. ft. warehouse/ showroom/ office complex
located in Schoolcraft, Michigan. We also have a full-line showroom
in New York City at 1385 Broadway, Room 900A. Additionally, we have
sales offices in Chicago, and Minneapolis.
What We Do… We specialize in
branded off-price sportswear for men and women at prices 25% to 75%
below the manufacturers' original wholesale price. We target
one-price retail operations, major multi-store chains, and many
independents with value-priced apparel and straight-talk customer
service. We serve customers in all 50 states, as well as in several
foreign countries.

Performance: For optimal
performance, this site is designed to work with Microsoft Internet
Explorer 5.0 or higher. The site will work with other browsers, but
some functionality may be lost. The site is very graphically intense
and pages take a few seconds to load. Page- loading time will also
be affected by the speed of your internet connection and internet
traffic.
User Name/ Password: To make
purchases from the site, you will need to register. Go to the
"Register/Login Here" button on the left side of the page and fill out the
brief registration form. You never need to "log- in" to simply
browse the site. The only time you need your user name/ password is
to actually make a purchase or to modify any account information.
You do not need to re-register each time you place an order; your
information is stored on our secure server. If you forget your user
name or password just click "Retrieve Password Here".

The Product: Our buyers are
constantly on the look-out for new goods, they scour the market for
closeouts. Closeouts are the lifeblood of the current
consumer-driven economy and Bermo has been dedicated to being a
closeout specialist since 1973. Manufacturers know who to call when
they have excess product to sell- they call Bermo!
New Arrivals: New goods arrive in
our warehouse daily and are processed and put on the website within
24 hours of receipt.
Pre-Packs: Our products are sold in
specific prepacks. Selling in prepacks keeps our warehouse free of
odds and ends and allows us to offer a more consistent product to
all of our customers. It also speeds the shipping process by
eliminating the time consumption involved in picking orders.
Seeing the Product: We attend many
trade shows throughout the year; additionally we maintain full-line
showrooms at our world headquarters in Schoolcraft, MI and at our
New York office. Showroom hours are 8:30a.m.(MI) 9:00a.m.(NY)- 5:00
p.m., EST, Mon-Fri. Other times are available by scheduled
appointment. We also have sales offices in the Chicagoland area,
and Minneapolis, MN. Please call us at (269)-679-2580,
and we will arrange a convenient time for you to view our product.
Samples: Upon request we will send
you samples. There is a charge for samples, and we must limit sample
orders to no more than six items. Sorry, we do not allow you to
select sizes in sample orders.
Ordering: You can place your order
directly on the website. All you need to do is register, fill in the
quantities desired, click the "Add to Cart" button and follow the
directions. You will receive an order confirmation and a sales rep
will be assigned to your account. You can also fax your order to us
at (269)-679-2611 or call your order to us at (269)-679-2580.
Order Status: You can call your
account rep at (269)-679-2580 any time to check on the status of
your order. Contact us as soon as possible if you discover changes
that need to be made to your order.
Shipping: · The FOB (origination)
point for all goods purchased from BERMO ENTERPRISES is Schoolcraft,
Michigan, USA. Freight charges on all orders are the responsibility
of the customer.· Orders to existing customers in good standing will
usually ship within 24 hours.· Orders to new customers with COD;
cashiers check, or credit card terms will usually ship within 48
hours.· Orders to new customers requesting terms that require credit
checks can take 2-10 days or longer to ship, depending on how well
your references respond to our inquiries.· On credit card orders,
the shipping charges will appear separately from the charge for your
goods.· Remember: After your order ships, UPS can take another 1-4
days depending on your location.
Returns: Bermo does not guarantee
sales; therefore we cannot accept returns on goods that don't
perform to your satisfaction. If an item that you purchase from us
does not sell well, we recommend making a quick markdown and
moving on to the next item. Remember: Make your first markdown your
best markdown! UPS Returns: If you are not available when UPS makes
the required three delivery attempts or you do not pick up a "will
call" shipment within seven days, UPS will return the shipment to
us. In this case, we would require full payment in advance before
reshipping the product to you plus any refusal fees that we might
have incurred. Damages: We stand behind our merchandise as
1st quality. If there is a problem with an item, please print off
and fill out our Claim Adjustment Form, located on the FAQ
page, and fax to (269)679-2611.
